Tutorela Reaches 200 Tutors Across the U.S.

Sep 16, 2026

Tutorela has reached a new milestone: more than 200 private tutors have joined our growing tutoring marketplace in the United States.

Our tutors cover a wide range of subjects, including math, English, chemistry, physics, statistics, history, test preparation, and more.

For us, 200 tutors is more than a number. It's an early sign that the kind of tutoring marketplace we're building resonates with educators — and an important step toward giving students and families more ways to find the right tutor for their needs.

Building a marketplace around great tutors

At Tutorela, we believe the tutor should remain at the center of the learning experience.

Technology is changing education quickly, and AI can already do remarkable things. But learning is personal. A great tutor understands the student, recognizes where they're struggling, adapts to them, motivates them, and builds a relationship over time.

That's why Tutorela is built first and foremost as a marketplace for private tutors.

Students and families can discover tutors across different subjects and find someone who fits their individual learning needs.

And as the marketplace grows, we're focused not just on adding more tutors, but on building a place where students can find the right tutor.

More than math

Some people may know Tutorela from our earlier work in math education.

Today, Tutorela is much broader.

Tutors on the platform teach subjects across the educational spectrum, including:

Reaching 200 tutors across these areas is an important milestone in Tutorela's growth as a private tutoring marketplace for students in the U.S.

And we're just getting started.

Human tutoring + AI

Finding the right tutor is only part of the learning experience.

A student might meet with a tutor once or twice a week, but there are many hours between those lessons — homework to complete, concepts to practice, questions that come up, and material that needs reinforcement.

That's where AI can help.

Tutorela combines private human tutoring with AI-powered learning support. The tutor remains at the center of the student's learning journey, while AI can help extend that support beyond the scheduled lesson.

We call this approach hybrid learning.

It's not about choosing between a human tutor and an AI tutor. We believe the two can work together: the human tutor provides the understanding, guidance, and relationship that great tutoring depends on, while AI provides additional support when the tutor isn't there.

The goal isn't to replace tutors with AI.

It's to make great tutoring more continuous, personalized, and effective.

Built on years of tutoring experience

Tutorela is growing in the U.S., but our experience with private tutoring started much earlier.

Our team is also behind Limud Naim, a private tutoring marketplace in Israel. Building and operating a tutoring marketplace over the years has given us a close look at what students, parents, and tutors actually need — and at the challenges that come with finding the right match.

We're bringing that experience to Tutorela while building specifically for students and tutors in the U.S.

Reaching 200 tutors is still an early milestone.

We're continuing to welcome tutors across more subjects, improve the experience of finding the right tutor, and develop the tools that bring human tutoring and AI together.

We'll continue sharing the major milestones as Tutorela grows.
