I’m an experienced educator and tutor who enjoys making complicated subjects easier to understand. My background includes teaching computer applications at the college level, tutoring Spanish, and helping students improve their writing, research, and technology skills. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and practical. I believe students learn best when lessons are built around what they actually need—not around a rigid, one-size-fits-all curriculum. I explain concepts in plain language, use real-world examples, and adjust the pace to the individual student. I work especially well with adults, beginning and intermediate Spanish students, writers who need help organizing and polishing their work, and anyone who wants to become more comfortable with computers and everyday technology. Most of all, I enjoy teaching. My goal is simple: when a lesson ends, I want my student to understand something that seemed difficult when we started—and to feel confident using what they’ve learned.
