About me

I have worked with children my entire life, in a variety of situations: public and private school classrooms, private agencies, private families, my own children and grandchildren, and even neighbors. I have provided support in improving academic progress, filling in gaps in math, reading, and language arts, teaching reading, support for behavior struggles, support for confidence building, test prep, and more, and have seen great success with many students. I have a natural, patient, rapport with students and their families. Being a grandmother of 11, and enjoying every minute of it, adds to this. My goal is to help the student do well, and gain more confidence in their academics. I am blessed to be able share my skills and experience in education via tutoring.
