My instructional strategy is student centered, cultivating a balance between auditory and visual approaches. i.e reading, writing and analytical discussion. History, Social Science and life is best understood from multiple lenses i.e. social, economic, political, and cultural perspectives. I have taught survey courses (all levels) i.e. intermediate, college prep, and AP US History, American Govt, World History, European History, Cultural Geography. At the end of the day, History is a story well told! The story comes to life and is a wonderful tool to learn about how the world works. Synthesizing, evaluating, and analyzation skills grow as the student is guided through the curriculums.
