About me

I teach by learning where to start. By that, I mean that I check in with my student to see where best to begin. Once established, my goal is to help the student grasp the information with a thorough understanding of what and why. Learning builds on a strong foundation, with key elements as building blocks. I try to identify any missing key elements and incorporate them in so that the learning path stays clear and strong. I try to incorporate visual, auditory and tactile instruction exercises into my teaching, to give each student a way to bring information in through their strongest preferred learning mode. My goal in teaching is to give each student mastery in the subject for future success in life.
