About me

Hi! I’m Lacie, an experienced elementary educator, homeschool teacher, and tutor with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I have taught in traditional classrooms, homeschool co-ops, small groups, and one-on-one settings. I believe every student is capable of growth when instruction is clear, encouraging, and tailored to how they learn best. I use assessment data, student work, and personal goals to identify strengths, address learning gaps, and help students become more confident and independent learners. My experience includes literacy, writing, study skills, executive functioning, and support for students with dyslexia and ADHD. Whether a student needs help mastering a specific skill, organizing assignments, preparing for an assessment, or simply believing in their abilities again, I meet them where they are and help them take the next step forward.
