Hi! I’m Lauren, an experienced educator with over 13 years of experience working with elementary students in both general and special education settings. I specialize in supporting students in grades K–5, with a strong focus on reading, math, and building confidence in the classroom.
I believe every child can learn and succeed when instruction is tailored to their individual needs. My tutoring sessions are patient, engaging, and personalized to meet each student where they are while helping them make meaningful progress. I use hands-on activities, visuals, games, and step-by-step instruction to make learning easier to understand and enjoyable.
My experience in special education has given me the opportunity to work with students with a wide range of learning styles and abilities. I understand that some students need extra time, repetition, encouragement, or a different approach—and that’s okay! My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their growth.
