About me

I teach middle and high school students at all levels, from struggling readers and reluctant writers to advanced and AP Literature students. My approach is supportive, discussion-based, and tailored to each student's needs. I break challenging skills into manageable steps and help students understand the “why,” not just find the right answer. Students strengthen reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, literary analysis, and critical thinking while developing strategies they can use independently. My goal is for students to become more confident, capable readers, writers, and thinkers.
