About me
Hello,
My name is Marissa Green. Many families in the Middle East know me as Lady Marissa, a name I chose after publishing my first novel in Sharjah, UAE.
I have spent about fifteen years in the classroom and another five years in educational administration. Teaching is still one of my greatest joys, especially when I am free to teach creatively rather than “teach to the test.” I love connecting children to the world beyond their classroom walls, bringing fresh perspectives that make learning feel alive again.
Even though we live in a world filled with standards and benchmarks, I am skilled at weaving those elements together in a way that bridges your child’s real world with their academic experience. I believe learning should feel meaningful, personal, and connected.
Most of my work has been in person, because many families still value that closeness. But if you are far away, it is perfectly fine. I am adaptable and creative enough to open a new world for your child through my own stories, publications, and the learning environments I design.
