I care about education and my students deeply. I believe in getting to know my students and their interests first so I can build an individualized lesson plan. I believe in resilience, determination, having fun, sparking interest, and building on the strengths and interests of students. I can do grammar drills, rote learning, individualized learning, group learning, repetition, creative learning, learning through music, and learning through games. I aim to delight and encourage my students and avoid being overly corrective or harsh with them. I prefer to draw them gently back to our lesson with a brain break (a fun activity) to refresh them if they get tired from a stressful day. I build dynamic and genuine, caring relationships with my students because they are important to me, along with their academic success. It is important to me that they feel comfortable in my classroom so they can, in turn, ask questions of me and I can provide them with the answers that they are seeking. I build them up academically, emotionally, and psychologically. Knowledge is power, and I want to equip them to be able to meet the demands of their lives as well as be happy and resilient! I believe in them and want them to believe in me!
