- TESOL/TEFL Certified - 6+ Years Experience - Personalized ESL/EFL - Beginner to Advanced English Classes - English Literacy - Phonics/Phonemic Awareness - Science of Reading -I am passionate about literacy and language development and I want to provide an engaging and interesting learning environment for children to learn the skills they need to succeed. My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and personalized. Whenever possible, I try to incorporate a student’s own interests into the lesson. I enjoy finding creative ways to align a student's curriculum with activities that support understanding and help a student focus on the lesson. I also speak Haitian Creole fluently, which allows me to connect with and provide additional support to Haitian students who are learning English. I recognize that every student has their own personality and learns differently, so I adapt my lessons, pacing, activities, and explanations to match each student's abilities and goals.
