About me

I’ve taught a variety of subjects across different environments. I lead summer math classes for groups of high school freshmen, overviewing Algebra 2, Geometry, Precalculus, and Number Theory. I have worked one-on-one with dozens of students in subjects ranging from Pre-Algebra to Linear Algebra to Calc III. My experience with math competition has shaped my tutoring style, and I’ve found success by: 1. Determining where the student’s confusion lies 2. Breaking down the concepts in an intuitive way 3. Reapplying the student’s understanding to challenging problems I enjoy connecting with the students I teach, encouraging them to ask questions and helping them build confidence!
