About me

I'm a retired teacher with more than 40 years in the classroom and online, now tutoring students in Grades 4–10, from elementary math through Algebra 1. I hold a lifetime Texas certification in Elementary Mathematics and have deep experience with Saxon Math and Math-U-See, so I can pick up right where your student's curriculum leaves off. I teach kids who are struggling to keep up as well as kids who want to get ahead — meeting each one where they are. Helping students understand math is my passion. My goal for every student is real confidence in math, not just getting through the next test.
