About me

¡Hola! I'm a passionate and friendly Spanish teacher, native Spanish speaker from Cuba, and licensed educator in Oregon with a master's degree in education from Portland State University. I love helping students discover that learning Spanish can be fun, exciting, and rewarding! My teaching experience has allowed me to work with students from diverse backgrounds, learning styles, and language levels. I believe everyone can learn a new language with the right encouragement, patience, and support. My lessons are personalized, interactive, and designed to help you feel comfortable, build confidence, and start speaking Spanish naturally. Whether you're a complete beginner, looking to improve your conversational skills, or preparing for academic or professional goals, I'm here to support you every step of the way. Beyond teaching, I enjoy exploring nature, hiking, reading, and spending time with my dog, Rocky. I love connecting with people, sharing cultures, and making learning a positive experience. I can't wait to meet you and help you achieve your Spanish learning goals. ¡Vamos a aprender español juntos!
