About me

My experience teaching spans continents and ages. I have come to focus on yoga and meditation, French, ESL, culinary, and social studies, even though my academic background is in comparative literature and philosophy at Columbia University. I spent 15 years in Bali, Indonesia, where I learned and taught yoga, and taught ESL and Global Perspectives via Cambridge curriculum at international schools. I also taught online to diverse locales such as Seoul, Abu Dhabi, Beijing and Singapore. My classes are holistic and multidisciplinary, providing real-world value as well as philosophical insight and unique historical details that equip the student with knowledge and skills that are valuable to their lives both materially and spiritually. I am interested in communication skills, global peace making, and climate change, in particular focusing on ways to take effective action. I teach students to design proposals, uproot limiting beliefs, and to stay healthy and focused while helping them participate in meaningful global discourse.
