About me

I'm the author of 4 children's books, award-winning poetry, and short stories, with experience in editing, copywriting, and communications. For 5 years, I've worked as a substitute teacher with the NYC DOE, and as an English tutor for students ages 10-18. I prepare students for the AP, SAT, SSAT, ACT, SHSAT, and NY State exams. I focus on teaching techniques students can actually use on test day. My students have seen real results, including 100+ on the SAT, along with stronger comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills. I believe every student is capable of excelling with the right dedication and support. I bring a teaching style that's clear, patient, encouraging, and kind.
