Tutor Christine Kestian

About me

I am a passionate educator with over 15 years of teaching experience and a Master's Degree in Education. My background includes elementary classroom teaching, reading and writing intervention, English Language Learner (ELL) instruction, and supporting students with diverse learning needs. I believe every child learns differently, and my approach focuses on identifying each student's strengths, building confidence, and creating individualized learning experiences that make education engaging and meaningful. What makes my tutoring approach unique is my commitment to the whole child. Drawing on my experience integrating mindfulness, social-emotional learning, and yoga into education, I help students develop not only academic skills but also focus, resilience, and a positive attitude toward learning. Whether your child needs additional academic support, enrichment, or help overcoming learning challenges, my goal is to inspire a love of learning while helping every student reach their full potential.
