About me

I’m Mr. Lee; nice to meet you. Let me tell you a little about my philosophy of tutoring. Students come to me with a question or concept they want to explore. I am able to identify what students already know and pinpoint any potential knowledge gaps. I then use leading questions to guide students through the problem and deepen their understanding of a concept. I am able to clarify points of confusion and promote deep thinking, understanding, and reflection. Then, students often leave my sessions more confident in their ability to solve similar problems independently; they can apply the newfound skills to future problems, and they gain a sense of accomplishment.
