I teach communication studies because the way we speak, listen, and respond shapes nearly every part of our lives. In my classroom, students do more than study theories; they learn how communication works in real conversations, relationships, workplaces, and communities. We practice speaking with confidence, listening with care, organizing ideas, reading an audience, and handling disagreement with respect. Students leave with practical skills they can use in interviews, presentations, teamwork, leadership, and everyday life. My goal is to help each student find a voice that feels genuine, express ideas clearly, and understand people whose experiences may differ from their own. It helps, too.
