About me

With over 20 years of dedicated teaching experience, I empower Pre-K through elementary students—including beginning readers and Multilingual Learners—to build strong foundational skills in literacy, reading comprehension, and English language development. My approach combines multisensory, interactive phonics for early readers with supportive TESOL strategies and rich, literature-based instruction that makes learning engaging and accessible. By creating a warm, encouraging environment, I help young learners master decoding, expand their vocabulary, and gain the academic confidence needed to thrive in the classroom. Ultimately, my students acquire not only essential reading and language skills, but also a joyful, lifelong love for books and learning.
