About me

I’m a certified educator and literacy interventionist who helps students become stronger, more confident readers by identifying where they are struggling and providing targeted instruction to close those gaps. My approach goes beyond helping students complete homework. I explicitly teach students how to think through reading,making connections between ideas, identifying important details, understanding vocabulary, building comprehension, and explaining their thinking using evidence from the text. I believe students make the greatest progress when instruction meets them where they are.
