About me

That’s what my students have said about me throughout my 29 year teaching career. I understand mathematics and I understand how to teach it in a very simplistic, logical, and sequential way. I focus on teaching mathematical process as a means of understanding the necessary steps to both solving a problem and proving the answer correct. I am currently a middle school mathematics teacher in Goochland where I teach Pre Algebra and Pre Algebra honors. I also have 12 years of elementary math classroom experience and I’m very comfortable working with students on those grade levels.
