Tutor Ora Sonne

About me

Hello! I’m Miss Sonne, and I’d love to help you build confidence in math. I earned my mathematics teaching credential from Cal State Long Beach and have 11 years of experience teaching students in grades 6–12. I believe that talking through mathematical ideas is an essential part of learning. While classroom time doesn’t always allow for individual conversations, tutoring gives us the opportunity to explore your questions, work at your pace, and find strategies that make sense to you. My goal is to help you understand the concepts—not just memorize the steps. Message me to schedule a lesson. I look forward to working with you! – Miss Sonne
