About me

I am an energetic and dedicated high school English teacher with over ten years of experience. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Illinois, and I hold a Master’s in Education with a concentration in Reading and Literacy from Benedictine University. I have taught all levels of high school, including College Grammar and Composition, AP Literature and Composition and AP Language and Composition. I enjoy tutoring because it gives students a chance to examine their own work closely with the teacher. Coaching students through the writing process and helping them transform their work is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. In my spare time, I enjoy reading all
