Hello! I'm Symphani Newman, founder and owner of Cozy Corner Educational Services LLC. Having a B.S. in Elemtsry Education and structured literacy training in Orton-Gillingham methods and the Barton Reading and Spelling System, I began this practice because I wanted to make a bigger difference than the traditional school schedule allowed. By personalizing every session, I get to meet students exactly where they are, with no pressure to perform on a certain grade level. Families have more school choice than ever, and that freedom can feel overwhelming. Cozy Corner walks alongside parents and guardians who are new to the homeschool process, building a solid foundation with curriculum development, yearly planning, grading, and stress-free progress reporting. We offer early education support in handwriting, phonics, math, fine motor skills, social skills, and kindergarten readiness. Language Arts subjects for students K-8 such as creative writing, spelling, and reading intervention with phonics, fluency, comprehension, and sight words is also available. We are open to group sessions (for a discounted rate) with no more than 5 students in the session.
