About me

I am a Deaf ASL educator with a Doctor of Education background in Special Education and Curriculum. I have used sign language throughout my life and understand how visual language works. My lessons are personalized to your level, learning style, pace, and goals. I do not believe in simply memorizing signs. You will learn vocabulary and immediately use it through visual practice, conversations, storytelling, receptive activities, and real-life situations. Whether you are a complete beginner, returning to ASL, preparing for interpreting, improving your receptive skills, or simply wanting to communicate naturally with Deaf people, I will build lessons around your needs. My goal is simple: help you understand ASL, think visually, and become a confident signer.
